Double page layout today!!
On a visit to London, we saw the filming of the TV show Sherlock. At craft class I was lucky that a friend had some London themed stamps. Add more distressing and stencilling and this is what came along.

 I had fun with this layout, stencilling and colouring washi tape!

 I used stamps I had forgotten I had. I have decided to stop buying and use what ever I have in my room. Oh there is soooo much!

I have so many papers and parts of papers left over from classes that I need to use them up and make some room........for some more lol x

This is a recent page I have done all by myself!
No classes or copying from anyone else. I starte
 scapbooking by going to classes, which I realy enjoyed. But once the classes finished I felt confident to have a play on my own.

I've stopped worrying about getting things 'wrong' or 'wasting' things. Playing around and
seeing what happens is half the fun.

I have so much stash I thought it was about time I started using it. The paper under the photo is stripped so I cut it to thread through the
buckle.

  I love stencilling at the moment, so it is popping up in a lot of my pages at the moment.

I have started something new this year!
I have taken part in my first Circle Journal, creating pages for peoples given theme and receiving them for mine. This is the one I created for Carmels ' favourite animals' theme. I have always adored elephants and have a lovely collection of ornaments.

Having real fun at the moment scrapbooking. I lost my mojo for a while but have found it again!!

Have started to feel confident playing around with things. If I do it wrong I know I can go get some more!! lol

I am back , again!!

Having been away for a while I am back with a Christmas layout!!

After a very busy and trying year hopefully I am back, blogging and more importantly, crafting.

I hope to blog more often and post more projects. I am experimenting more with lots of different techniques. I dont worry so much about 'wasting' my precious stash. If you don't try it you don't know if it will work!!

Hi all,
Have had a few hours plying in the craft room, having a go at a project all by myself.
Having a few problems putting photos on at the moment, but will do so when I sort it out.
The weather has been awful but it is a good excuse to have a dabble!
Every so often a head will appear around the door making sure I am ok. Believe me I am absolutely fine!
Have made a couple of cards,one was needed so desperately I didn't get to take a picture!
Well I hope the weather improves just so that we can venture outside lol.

sorry I've not been around but have been unable to access my account for some reason.
Well I hope to be able to get back to crafting and blogging now that all my house alterations are done!

It's been a while

Good afternoon,
Have been unable to blog for a while due to family issues but hopefully back to a bit of crafting now.
The sun has started to pop its head out so hopefully the insperation will start to flow.
The spring and summer months become my time for doing classes and visiting craft shows, the winter months belong to hubby as he is a bowler!

Have no projects to post today but have been good and started catching up on unfinished scrapbook pages.
My biggest problem is journaling so that is something I want to work on this year. I have some lovely pages but once I am not here they won't mean anything to anybody!

It's a challenge!

Hi All,
Well have found everything a bit of a challenge this week. Just getting motivated has been the biggest one!
Finally found some get up and go and have managed a whole day in the craft room today x

Have played with several things, my sizzix, embossing, die cutting and playing with colours.
Made some cards to enter challenges but now feel they are not up to scratch. But at least I have made my card box swell a bit.
The one challenge I would like to enter is

Good Morning

Good morning all,
Well I am continuing to keep to my challenge this year of keeping up my new blog and entering more challenges.
I am hoping to enter todays offering into
Shopping our stash-All that glitters sparkles and shines
Papertake weekly-Die cut special
Cup cake craft- something new

I have used a plain card blank and layered it with stripped paper from
an Anna Griffin 12x12 pad. Then using my new Xcut dies I cut a frilly circle and folded part of it around to the inside of the card, again this has a stripped piece layered on to it.
The little plate die is also new Xcut addition! I stamped a setiment and inked the edges before placing ribbon through the end and mounting it on small foam pads. I added a few coulred pearls to finish it off!

I was very lucky just before Christmas to have a little win on the Bingo hence all the new stash!!

New card

Well I have finaly got round to this week's post, a bit later than hoped but better late then never!

Am hoping I can enter this card into Scrapbook Sisters challenge 'snow' and Make it Mondays
, anything goes.

I used blue card, and cut an oval from the front. Iaid a piece of snowflake paper inside (Forever Friends).

I placed white and gold snowflakes randomly around the outside and finished off with my cut and coloured stamped Forever Friends Bear.

A page!

Hi,
Well all seems to be going well so far, have posted a card a now have managed a page too!
This for the Scrabook Sisters challenge for a christmas page and I am quite pleased with it.
I have used a Bo-Bunny heavy wieght page and the Santa stamp is a very old Anitas stamp that I have had for years. It is a favourite and has been used in many ways!

I have used magenta stickles randomly to glitz up the word and some peel offs down the side that I have had haning around for ages.
